Simon McCorry &minus Composer and Sound Designer − has been working within the field of theatre since 1996. His recent work for theatre includes Joe Guy by Roy Williams, directed by Femi Elufowoju Jr, Vincent River by Philip Ridley, directed by Becs McCutcheons and Bacchic directed by Jonathan Young. He uses a variety of techniques, digital, analogue and acoustic and works in a variety of styles, always with a view to be harmonious with the rest of the production.
He would describe his work as inhabiting the point where sound design and music meet, and feels that both these sonic aspects of theatre should sit within the same aesthetic.
Through years of experience creating, recording and engineering music and sound design, he is now able to offer the following services for the theatre and film industries:
